Capcom, the global computer game manufacturer, selected iD Experiential to create a press event to launch its new title: ‘Lost Planet 2’ on March 19th.
The event, held at The Arches in London Bridge, invited members of the computer game press and selected gamers to be the first to play the title, two month’s ahead of its launch in the UK. The venue was dressed by iD’s in-house production team to reflect the dark, brooding atmosphere of the game. Sand bags, wooden pallets, oil drums, breeze blocks and various military paraphernalia were positioned around the venue to enable the guests to fully immerse themselves in Capcom’s latest exciting title.
The game’s creator, Jun Takeuchi, was flown in from Japan to present at the event and talked the guests through the features of the new release. Capcom’s ‘Lost Planet 2’ is due for release on the PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 18 in the UK.
